On Wednesday, Israeli occupation soldiers demolished a home in the town of Silwan, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East Jerusalem, in the occupied West Bank.

Many military vehicles, accompanied by several bulldozers, invaded the town before heading to the Al-Bustan neighborhood.

Media sources said the soldiers demolished the home of Na’im Roweidi, which also includes the Al-Bustan Center and the “Steadfastness Tent.”

The property is where the Palestinians in Silwan have been gathering for years, camping and protesting the escalating Israeli violations in Silwan, especially the demolition of homes and the confiscation of property for the benefit of illegal Israeli colonizers.

It is worth mentioning that, since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation authorities have demolished about 360 homes and structures in occupied Jerusalem.

In related news, Israeli soldiers invaded Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron in the occupied West Bank’s southern part and demolished a newly built home and an irrigation pool.
