Israeli occupation forces stormed, on Wednesday morning, the town of Silwan, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem, and detonated the family home of the slain Khairy Alqam.
A large army force invaded the Ras al-Amud neighborhood in Silwan, accompanied by military bulldozers, besieged the home of the slain young man, Khairy Musa Alqam, 21.
Israeli forces proceeded to assault local Palestinians who gathered in the neighborhood to protest the incursion.
Alqam was killed on January 27, 2023 after he allegedly killed seven illegal Israeli colonizers and injured ten others in Nabi Yacoub settlement in the northern part of occupied Jerusalem.
In related news, Israeli forces demolished a Palestinian-owned home in the village of Shuqba, northwest of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank.
Soldiers invaded the village, at dawn Wednesday, accompanied by a military bulldozer, and proceeded to demolish the family home of Ahmed Fathi Nakhla.
The Israeli authorities informed the family of their intention to demolish the home on e week ago, under the purported pretext of building without a license.
