Israeli forces shot, on Wednesday, at least six Palestinians with live rounds, injuring two critically, one of whom they abducted, in different regions of the occupied West Bank.

    Jenin

On Wednesday afternoon, Israeli forces invaded the village of Fahma, southwest of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, and erected a flying military roadblock at its main entrance.

Soldiers stopped vehicles, checked the identification of their occupants, leading to protests among local Palestinians.

Soldiers responded to protests by firing live rounds, shooting one young man in the chest and shoulder, causing serious injuries, while another young man was shot in the hand.

Both young men were transported to the Ibn Sina Hospital in the city of Jenin.

The army also invaded Arraba town, southwest of Jenin, erected a flying military roadblock at its entrance, sparking protests with local Palestinians. No injuries were reported.

    Ramallah

In the central occupied West Bank, Israeli soldiers shot and abducted a Palestinian young man near the village of Beit Ur al-Tahta, west of Ramallah.

Media reports said that the army shot and critically injured the young man, Hamza Abdel Hafeez Suleiman, before abducting him, for allegedly attempting to throw a homemade explosive device.

    Bethlehem

Israeli forces stormed the town of Husan, west of Bethlehem in the southern occupied West Bank, and closed the eastern entrance to the town.

Local Palestinians protested the move, which soldiers responded to by firing live rounds, concussion grenades, and tear gas canisters.

One young man was injured with an unknown injury, while many others suffered the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation.

It was added that soldiers occupied the rooftops of Palestinian citizens’ homes, using them as a military observation points and firing posts.

Meanwhile, southwest of Bethlehem, occupation soldiers invaded the town of Al-Khader, leading to protests among local Palestinians.

Soldiers opened fire with many live rounds and tear gas canisters, causing a number of citizens to sustain inhalation injuries as a result of tear gas exposure.

    Hebron

In the predawn hours of Wednesday, Israeli forces stormed the town of Beit Kahil, northwest of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank to carry out an abduction campaign.

Local Palestinians protested the incursion, while soldiers fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel rounds, concussion grenades, and tear gas canisters.

At least three Palestinians sustained minor to moderate injuries when soldiers shot them with live rounds in their lower and upper limbs. They were transported to Hebron hospitals for medical intervention.

Many others sustained inhalation injuries and were treated at the scene by local medics.
