Early Tuesday morning, Israeli forces invaded the Old City of Nablus, causing around 15 cases of suffocation due to tear gas inhalation, in addition to assaulting and injuring a teenage boy.

Ahmad Amid, the direction of the Emergency Services at The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS), state that PRCS paramedics provided medical assistance to more than 15 Palestinians, including children, who suffered from tear gas exposure during the invasion.

He added that a 17-year-old boy sustained injuries after being assaulted by Israeli soldiers. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Reports indicate that Israeli troops invaded many neighborhoods within the Old City, including Khan Market, storming residential homes and commercial establishments. Soldiers conducted searches, ransacked properties, and deployed snipers on rooftops.

In addition, Israeli forces targeted several homes with live ammunition and tear gas grenades, before detaining several young men.

Meanwhile, Nablus’ Education Directorate announced the suspension of classes across the city and postponed the unified examination in all schools until the following Monday, due to the ongoing invasions.

Early on Tuesday, Israeli soldiers invaded various areas of the occupied West Bank, stormed and violently searched homes, and abducted many Palestinians.
