On Tuesday morning, an illegal paramilitary colonizer, accompanied by many Israeli soldiers, blocked the entrance to Yasuf village, east of Salfit, preventing the Palestinians from entering of leaving it.
Local sources reported that the colonizer obstructed the village’s main entrance by placing large rocks in the middle of the road.
This entrance serves as one of the primary and nearly the only access points to Salfit. With Israeli forces continuing to close the northern entrance of the city and the gate leading to Bruqin, west of Salfit, movement restrictions have exacerbated daily hardships for Palestinian residents.
Reports indicate that the escalated violations by the Israeli colonizers last month were heavily concentrated in several West Bank governorates, with Nablus experiencing 91 attacks, Ramallah 89, and Hebron 72.
According to the Wall & Colonization Resistance Commission, settlers carried out 356 acts of vandalism and theft targeting Palestinian-owned property, including vast stretches of land.
The attacks also resulted in the cutting and uprooting of more than 1,068 trees, 695 of which were olive trees, across the governorates of Hebron, Ramallah, Salfit, Tulkarem, and Nablus.
The commission highlighted the widespread escalation of colonizers’ assaults in Salfit villages, particularly in Bruqin and Kafr ed-Deek, where attacks have significantly intensified.
Early on Tuesday, Israeli soldiers invaded various areas of the occupied West Bank, stormed and violently searched homes, and abducted many Palestinians.
