Israeli occupation forces carried out widespread and coordinated invasions across multiple districts of the occupied West Bank on Saturday, storming towns, villages, and refugee camps, firing live rounds and toxic gas, ransacking homes, and detaining residents.
The assaults spanned Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, Ramallah and al‑Biereh in the central West Bank, Tubas and Jenin in the northern West Bank, and Tulkarem, where Israeli forces continued a months‑long siege.
In Bethlehem, Israeli forces invaded Beit Fajjar town, south of the city, positioned themselves in the “al‑Muthallath” area and the town center, and fired live rounds, toxic tear gas, and concussion grenades.
Later, several Palestinians suffered suffocation during an Israeli invasion of Dheisheh refugee camp, south of Bethlehem, where soldiers fired toxic tear gas and concussion grenades at residents and smashed the windows of several Palestinian‑owned vehicles. Israeli forces also invaded Za’tara, ash‑Shawawra, Dar Salah, and al‑‘Ubeidiya east of Bethlehem.
|Colonizer Attacks Escalate Across West Bank Saturday|
In Hebron, in the southern West Bank, the soldiers forced shop owners to close and imposed severe movement restrictions on Palestinians by shutting down roads and intersections to enable groups of illegal colonizers to march through the area.
In Ramallah, in the central West Bank, Israeli forces invaded al‑Mughayyer, detained a young man in the eastern part of the village, and forced him to reopen a road that residents had closed earlier to prevent colonizer attacks. Soldiers also stormed a home in the village.
Several members of a Palestinian family, including children, suffered suffocation injuries after soldiers fired toxic tear gas inside their house.
Israeli forces also invaded Turmus Ayya and Abu Falah, neighboring villages northeast of Ramallah, without reporting arrests. Communities in this region continue to face daily invasions by Israeli forces alongside ongoing colonizer attacks.
Israeli forces also invaded Kober, north of Ramallah, deploying in several streets and firing toxic tear gas. In al‑Biereh, Israeli forces invaded the city center, firing live rounds, concussion grenades, and toxic tear gas before withdrawing.
In Tubas, in the northern West Bank, fifteen Palestinians suffered suffocation during confrontations with Israeli forces in the city.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said its crews treated fifteen cases of tear‑gas inhalation after soldiers fired toxic gas at residents.
Israeli forces had invaded the city earlier in the evening with several military vehicles and deployed foot patrols in the city center. Soldiers also detained two Palestinians, Nafe’ Bisharat from Tammun and Mahmoud Ahmad al‑Tayeh from al‑Far’a refugee camp—after stopping them at a flying military roadblock near Haddad village, south of Jenin.
In Jenin, in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded Ya’bad from the western entrance at dawn, after sealing the town’s entrances with earth mounds. Soldiers stormed dozens of homes, conducted field interrogations, and detained several residents for hours.
Mayor Samer Abu Bakr said around fifteen military vehicles took part in the invasion, spreading across several neighborhoods, assaulting young men, and damaging the contents of multiple homes.
During the invasion, the soldiers converted the home of Ibrahim ‘Amour into a field interrogation center and held several residents inside for hours.
The invasion came one day after Israeli forces seized the home of Khaled Jamal Abu Shamlah in the al‑Malloul area of the town, turning it into a military outpost after giving the family only a short time to remove belongings.

Residents reported heavy gunfire and explosions throughout the day inside the refugee camp, where soldiers have converted several Palestinian homes into military outposts.
Tulkarem refugee camp remains under a severe siege and closure for 559 consecutive days, part of Israel’s ongoing assault on Tulkarem city and its two refugee camps—Tulkarem and Nur Shams—which has forced thousands of residents to flee and caused widespread destruction of homes, infrastructure, and civilian property.
In Qalqilia, in northwestern West Bank, the soldiers invaded several neighborhoods in the city, closed streets and fired gas bombs.
