Israeli occupation forces invaded the northern West Bank city of Qalqilia at dawn on Saturday, abducting five Palestinians, among them two children and a woman, during widespread home invasions.
Local sources reported that soldiers stormed the city from its eastern entrance and spread through the Kafr Saba neighborhood, where they abducted the two children, Taha and Walweel Ali Salmi, along with Odai Abu Assab, after invading their family homes, searching them, and ransacking their contents.
In a separate invasion, forces invaded the village of Baqa al-Hatab, east of Qalqilia, from its main entrance, deploying in the western quarter and the al-Bayader area.
Soldiers carried out extensive home invasions targeting the Batta and Abdul-Ghani families, abducting Imtiaz Rafiq and Walid Hakam after searching their houses.
These abductions are part of a broader escalation across the occupied West Bank, where Israeli forces routinely invade Palestinian towns and villages, targeting children, women, and young men, in violation of international law and basic human rights.
