The Israeli occupation army continued its violations in the Gaza Strip, and intensified the bombing of buildings in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, overnight on Saturday.

A Palestinian woman and her son were killed by Israeli occupation army fire, on Saturday evening, in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, bringing the number of Palestinians killed in the Gaza Strip since this morning to 9, one of whom succumbed to earlier injuries.

A Wafa correspondent reported that an elderly citizen and her son were killed by occupation army fire in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, and they were transferred to Al-Ahly Al-Arabi “Baptist” Hospital in the city.

Medical sources reported that 9 bodies have arrived at Gaza Strip hospitals since this morning: three citizens were killed in Beit Lahia, a citizen in Jabalia, in addition to the two people killed in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood. A citizen also died from his previous injuries, and the bodies of two other people were recovered.

The Israeli occupation army has expanded the “Yellow Line” areas and placed yellow concrete blocks in the Bani Suhaila area of Khan Younis, a new area it has taken control of in the Gaza Strip. The army keeps changing the location of the ‘yellow line’ to keep taking more and more of the tiny Gaza Strip.

Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation blew up a number of buildings and facilities in the Shujaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

Israeli occupation forces fire illumination flares over the town of Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza.

Most of the town lies within the so-called “yellow line”, and the Israeli military has been targeting civilians attempting to return to their homes in the area, which they designate as a no-go zone.

Medical sources announced that the death toll in the Gaza Strip had risen to 70,354, the majority of whom were children and women, since the start of the Israeli occupation aggression on October 7, 2023.

The same sources explained that the number of injuries has risen to 171,030 since the start of the aggression, while a number of victims are still under the rubble, and ambulance and rescue crews are unable to reach them.

A Wafa news correspondent reported that the occupation forces continue to open fire in areas east of Khan Yunis, coinciding with the bombing of citizens’ homes.

Yesterday and the day before yesterday, the occupation aircraft intensified its bombing of the eastern areas of the Gaza Strip, and launched a series of raids targeting neighborhoods in Gaza City, Rafah, and Al-Maghazi camp, in a continuous violation of the ceasefire agreement that entered into force on October 11. The death toll and injuries since then have reached 367 martyrs and 953 injured, and 624 bodies have been recovered.
