Israeli forces killed a Palestinian young man on Wednesday, injured one, and abducted three others after invading the northern West Bank city of Nablus.
The Palestinian Health Ministry announced that the young man, Hamza Muhammad Sa’id Khammash, 33, succumbed to gunshot wounds inflicted on him by occupation soldiers.
Media sources said that the army stormed the Old City of Nablus on Wednesday morning, broke into Khammash’s home in the Jasmine neighborhood, shooting him in the thigh at close range with live ammunition.
According to Amid Hassan, the Director of Ambulance and Emergency at the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) in Nablus reported that soldiers critically wounded the young man, before he was pronounced dead.
The PRCS added that Israeli forces injured a 20-year-old Palestinian man after running over him with a military vehicle; he was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, during the military incursion into the Old City, occupation forces abducted three Palestinians, including the brother of the slain Khammash.
Sources identified those abducted by Israeli soldiers as Yousef Muhammad Khammash, brother of the martyr, Haza Izz al-Bazm, and Nidal Habisha.
Furthermore, west of the city, the army invaded the home of Abdul Karim Sanobar at the Zawata intersection, and proceeded to take measurements of the home in a prelude to demolishing it.
