Israeli forces shot and killed a Palestinian young man, on Monday, after invading the Askar refugee camp, east of Nablus, in the northern West Bank. On Sunday, Israeli forces shot three citizens, including a child in the Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus.
In a brief statement, the Palestinian Health Ministry announced that a young man who was “shot by the occupation, arrived at the Rafidia Governmental Hospital from Askar Camp.”
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that occupation soldiers shot the young man, Mohammad Yasser Omar Abu Kishk, 18, on Monday evening, with live rounds in the Askar Hill area, east of Nablus.
The army prevented ambulance crews from approaching the critically injured young man, until he succumbed to his wounds.
Media sources said that a large army force stormed the popular housing area and Askar Hill, east of the city, before firing many live rounds, concussion grenades, and tear gas canisters, shooting the young man.
Sources added that the occupation army also assaulted a citizen during the military incursion, the condition of whom was not known at the time of writing this report.
In related news, Israeli forces shot three Palestinian citizens, including a child, on Sunday evening, after invading the Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus.
Media sources said that the army, accompanied by a military bulldozer, stormed the Balata refugee camp, and fired many live rounds, sparking protests, shooting three citizens, including a child.
The army shot a 22-year-old man in the hand with live ammunition, in addition to shooting a 16-year-old child in the head and a 19-year-old man in the thigh with bullet fragments; they were transported to the hospital for treatment.
Since the beginning of the Israeli military onslaught against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, Israeli forces have killed 814 Palestinians in the West Bank, including 169 children, and injured 6,450.
The distribution of those killed in the West Bank is as follows; 222 in Jenin, 183 in Tulkarem, 90 in Nablus, 77 in Hebron, 66 in Tubas, 59 in Ramallah, 50 in occupied Jerusalem, 31 in Qalqilia, 20 in Bethlehem, 12 in Jericho, 12 inside Israel, and 4 in Salfit.
Since October 7, 2023, Israeli forces have killed 45,028 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, most of whom are women and children, and injured 106,962 citizens, while the bodies of thousands of citizens remain buried under the rubble of the devastated coastal enclave.
