Israeli forces shot and killed a Palestinian woman, on Sunday, after an alleged stabbing attempt at the “Hamra” military roadblock in the northern Jordan Valley.
Media sources said that occupation forces shot a woman with live rounds after she allegedly attempted a stabbing at the military roadblock.
It was added that after shooting the woman, soldiers prevented ambulance crews from approaching her, and closed the roadblock in both directions.
The slain woman, identified as Labiba Faze’ Sidqi Ghannam, 43, a resident of the city of Tubas, succumbed to the gunshot wounds inflicted on her, and the soldiers’ denial of medical treatment.
Arab 48 quoted the Israeli Army Radio who said that five shooting operations were carried out in the West Bank over a short period of time, while several areas witnessed settler and military vehicles being targeted with stones and Molotov cocktails.
In the northern West Bank governorate of Jenin, resistance fighters opened fire towards occupation forces at the Salem, Dotan, and Al-Jalama military roadblocks.
South of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, resistance fighters opened fire at the Huwwara military roadblock, while a crude explosive device was employed against an army vehicle in Burqa village, northwest of the city.
East of Ramallah, in the central West Bank, an illegal Israeli colonizer was injured when he tried to knock down a Palestinian flag which was rigged with a crude explosive device.
In related news, Israeli forces shot and killed two Palestinian teens, on Sunday, near Hebron in the southern West Bank, after they allegedly carried out a shooting and attempted stabbing.
Israeli forces and colonizers shot and killed, on Saturday evening, a 50-year-old ambulance driver in the village of As-Sawiya, south of Nablus, in the northern occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced, on Saturday evening, that a total of fourteen Palestinians, including two children, were shot and killed by Israeli forces in the Nur Shams camp, east of Tulkarem in the northwestern part of the West Bank and the Tulkarem camp.
The total number of Palestinians killed by the Israeli army and illegal colonizers has now risen to 487, since the beginning of the military onslaught against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.
Meanwhile, the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 34,049 killed, the majority of whom are women and children, since the seventh of October, while 76,901 have been injured, while the thousands of victims remain under the rubble.
