Israeli occupation forces killed a displaced Palestinian man in the northern Gaza Strip on Monday, as the army continued to violate the ceasefire agreement for the 207th consecutive day through ground operations, artillery fire, drone activity, and the destruction of civilian structures across the enclave.
The Civil Defense reported that Mousa Salem Fathi Al-Abyad, 42, was shot and killed in the Al-Atatra area of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip.
His body was transferred to Al Shifa Hospital in Gaza City. The killing occurred amid ongoing Israeli military activity targeting areas where displaced families have been sheltering.
Israeli artillery units continued to shell several districts, including eastern Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip and the Zeitoun neighborhood southeast of Gaza City, while military drones carried out intensive flights over multiple areas.
These attacks followed additional ceasefire violations on Sunday, when three displaced Palestinians, including a child, were killed in separate incidents in the northern and southern parts of the Strip.

The latest developments come as humanitarian agencies warn that conditions in Gaza remain catastrophic despite the “ceasefire” framework.
UNRWA stated in its most recent update that displaced families continue to face “unrelenting danger,” noting that shelters remain overcrowded, unsafe, and frequently struck during Israeli military operations.
The agency added that access to clean water, sanitation, and medical care remains “critically insufficient,” with thousands of families forced to relocate repeatedly due to ongoing military activity.
OCHA reported that Israeli violations of the ceasefire have “severely undermined humanitarian operations,” citing repeated disruptions to aid convoys, restrictions on movement, and continued attacks near areas designated for humanitarian access.

The agency warned that the cumulative impact of these violations has pushed Gaza’s civilian population “beyond the limits of survival,” with food insecurity, disease outbreaks, and displacement reaching unprecedented levels.
The United Nations Secretary General reiterated last week that all parties must adhere to the ceasefire framework and ensure the protection of civilians, stressing that repeated violations “risk collapsing the fragile humanitarian space” and obstruct efforts to stabilize conditions on the ground.
Meanwhile, 117 Palestinians were evacuated from Gaza on Monday morning through the Karem Abu Salem (Kerem Shalom) crossing, heading to Jordan for medical treatment.

The group included 42 patients and 75 companions transferred as part of arrangements to move cases requiring advanced medical care unavailable inside Gaza.
The evacuation took place against the backdrop of a collapsing healthcare system, where hospitals face severe shortages of supplies, fuel, and specialized staff.
The Gaza Government Media Office documented 377 ceasefire violations during April alone, resulting in dozens of casualties.
The Ministry of Health reports that the total number of Palestinians killed since October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,612, with over 172,457 injured.
It added that the ongoing Israeli violations of the “ceasefire” since October 2025, have led to 832 deaths and 2,345 injuries, while the bodies of 767 slain Palestinians were recovered from the rubble across the coastal enclave.
The ministry noted that the toll has continued to rise even after the ceasefire went into effect, due to ongoing Israeli military actions and the inability of medical teams to reach many of the wounded.
Humanitarian organizations continue to warn that without sustained adherence to the ceasefire and full access for aid agencies, Gaza’s civilian population will remain exposed to life threatening conditions, displacement, and repeated cycles of violence.
