On Thursday, 55 days since the so-called “ceasefire” was declared, Israeli drone-strikes killed five displaced Palestinians, including two children, in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Medical sources at the Kuwait Specialized Hospital reported that an Israeli drone strike killed 5 Palestinians, including two children, targeting displacement tents in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis.
The photo above shows the two children and their father, who were all burned alive in the Israeli strike on their tent.
Al-Jazeera correspondent reported that the Israeli military carried out four drone-strikes targeting the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis, inflicting injuries, adding that Israeli forces continue to demolish buildings in the Tuffah neighborhood of Gaza City.
WAFA reported that the strikes caused fires in several displacement tents in the Al-Mawasi area. It quoted medical sources at the Kuwait Specialized Hospital reported that its ambulance crews recovered five charred bodies from the “Al-Najat” camp for displaced people in Al-Mawasi.
In the same context, the army announced the injury of four soldiers after Palestinian resistance fighters emerged from a tunnel in the eastern part of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Israeli Army Radio reported that Israeli soldiers killed two of three Palestinian fighters who emerged from a tunnel, while the third fighter fired an anti-tank missile towards the occupation army, inflicting casualties among its soldiers.
Al-Jazeera quoted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who stated that “Hamas cannot remain in Gaza, and its removal will be either through an international force or by force.”
In a statement, the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas said “the occupation continues its violations of the ceasefire agreement and is targeting displaced people beyond the Green Line.” The movement urged mediators and guarantor states to take action to stop the ongoing Israeli violations against the civilian population in Gaza.
Since the October 11, 2025, when “ceasefire” took effect, Israeli attacks have continued. Al Jazeera reports that 356 Palestinians have been killed and 909 injured during this period alone, underscoring that violations of the ceasefire are ongoing and deadly.
Israel has now killed more than 70,000 Palestinians and injured over 170,000, the majority of them children, women, and elderly people. Thousands of the wounded have suffered life‑altering conditions such as amputations, permanent disabilities, and severe trauma.
At least 463 Palestinians, including 157 children, have died from hunger, as Israel’s blockade has cut off food, water, and humanitarian aid.
