In the Gaza Strip on Saturday evening, Israeli occupation aircraft killed one Palestinian in the vicinity of Al-Qastal Towers, east of the city of Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

The Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir Al-Balah said Mohammad Sayyed Suleiman Sbeitan was killed in the attack.

A Palestinian citizen was also injured after occupation army drone targeted the Al-Qastal Towers area, east of the city of Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

Earlier in the day, the Palestinians located the body of Ammar Talal Abu Sbaab from the rubble of a bombarded building in the eastern area of Khan Younis.

The death toll from the Israeli occupation’s aggression on the Gaza Strip rose to 72,608 killed, 172,445 injured since the start of the aggression on October 7, 2023.

This evening’s attack followed a series of continued ceasefire violations by Israeli forces in Gaza, in which Israeli forces killed 8 Palestinians over the past 48 hours.

Meanwhile, the White House is set to close the Civil-Military Coordination Center (CMCC) near the Gaza Strip, which Reuters described as a “latest blow” to US President Donald Trump’s plan for the enclave.

The CMCC was created after the 2025 ceasefire to monitor the ceasefire and facilitate aid, but its role has been undermined by repeated ceasefire violations and restrictions on humanitarian deliveries.

Diplomats told Reuters the move reflects mounting challenges in managing the ceasefire, as Israel expands its occupation of the Gaza Strip.
