Israeli occupation forces killed, on Thursday, twelve Palestinians, and injured dozens more during an attack on the Nour Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarem, in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.
Media sources said that the army stormed the camp from various entrances and imposed a tight siege on it, preventing anyone from entering by blocking the entrance to the camp with earth mounds.
It was added that the army stormed dozens of citizens’ homes, deployed sharpshooters on the rooftops, and cut off the electricity and water supply, while military bulldozers tore up a number of streets.
According to Taha Irani, head of the People’s Committee for Services in Nour Shams Camp, twelve Palestinians were killed, and dozens were injured during the army’s attack on the camp.
Irani stated that Israeli forces launched a suicide drone which exploded, killing a number of unarmed civilians and injuring dozens.
She added that seven of the slain young men arrived at the Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital in Tulkarem, while five others were being held at the Abu Bakr al-Siddiq Mosque inside the camp, due to ambulance crews being prevented from transporting the bodies or the injured.
Armed Palestinian resistance fighters exchanged fire with the invading army, and detonated an explosive device which, according to Hebrew sources, killed one Israeli soldier, and injured nine others while they were traveling in a military vehicle.

A Palestinian child, Taha Mahameed, 16, was killed by Israeli forces during the invasion, and his father was injured while trying to save him.
According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS), treated 25 injuries, 17 of whom sustained live gunshot wounds from the occupation army.
It added that ambulance crews were blocked from approaching many of the wounded.
Israeli soldiers invaded the homes of two former prisoners and brothers, Baraa and Abd al-Rahman Fathi Qaraawi, Izz al-Din Abu Dayyeh, Samer Jaber, Ali Jaber, Mahmoud Jaber, and Imad Jaber, before abducting them.
It was also noted that one of the abducted young men had sustained a head injury prior to the army taking him into custody.
On Thursday evening, the army surrounded a Palestinian home, fired an “Energa” missile at the home, and started to demolish the three-storey youth club center, while reinforcements arrived at the camp.

There were no reports of any injuries as a result of the bombing, at the time of writing this report.
Local Palestinians gathered in the center of Tulkarem city, and marched in a peaceful demonstration towards the refugee camp, demanding the occupation forces end the siege on the camp.
