Fierce confrontations erupted, on Tuesday at dawn, between Palestinian youths and Israeli forces, invaded the northern occupied West Bank city of Qalqilia, Alray Palestinian Media Agency reports.
Local sources said Israeli forces stormed the neighborhood of Al Jaidi, where wide confrontations occurred with Palestinian youths, during which soldiers fired live ammunition, sound grenades, and tear-gas canisters towards the youths.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday morning, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, in the village of Qusra, Israeli soldiers attacked Palestinians resisting the levelling operations of the agricultural land
The head of the village council, Abdel Azim Wadi, said that Israeli heavy machinery and soldiers stormed the village and started a large-scale levelling operation in Mount Najma.
Wadi told QNN that the Israeli army had been holding nearly 100 locals in two groups.
He added that Israeli forces attacked two unarmed young Palestinian men, beating them with rifles, both were transferred to hospital, while the bulldozers continued to level the lands.
The injured young men were identified as Mahmoud Owdeh and Thaer Hasan, no further information was available at the time of reporting.
Israeli soldiers fired tear-gas canisters and rubber-coated metal bullets at the Palestinians resisting land annexation, causing injuries.
Meanwhile, local Palestinians, from the village and other adjacent villages continued to flock into the area in solidarity with the owners of the lands.
