On Thursday night, occupation forces shot and seriously injured a Palestinian man in the town of Anabta, east of Tulkarem in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.

Media sources said that the army invaded the town, while military vehicles stormed the neighborhoods, and soldiers opened fire with live rounds.

The Ministry of Health confirmed that soldiers shot a 49-year-old man in the head with live ammunition while he was present in his father’s shop on the main street.

The Ministry added that the seriously injured man was transported to the Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital in Tulkarem for treatment.

WAFA correspondent reported that due to the serious nature of his wounds, the injured man was later transferred to a Nablus hospital for specialized care.


In related news, Israeli forces invaded, on Thursday evening, the town of Doura, southwest of Hebron in the southern West Bank.

Media sources said that a large military force invaded the town from its eastern entrance, and positioned soldiers near the Al-Mujahid Mosque, while firing concussion grenades and tear gas canisters at citizens.


Furthermore, in the northern West Bank governorate of Jenin, soldiers stormed, on Thursday night, the towns of Ya’bad, Arraba, and the village of Jalboun.

Media sources said that the army erected two flying military roadblocks in the area, stopped and searched citizens vehicles, and inspected their IDs.
