Israeli forces shot a Palestinian child, on Monday, after invading the city of Al-Biereh, and abducted four citizens including a woman, in the central West Bank governorate of Ramallah and Al-Biereh.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that a 17-year-old child was shot in the leg with live ammunition in the Umm al-Sharait neighborhood in al-Biereh city.

Media sources said that occupation forces stormed the Umm al-Sharait neighborhood in al-Bireh city, on Monday afternoon, sparking protests, while soldiers opened fire with live rounds and tear gas canisters, injuring the child.

Sources added that the army invaded a wedding hall and commercial shops, detaining several citizens while inspecting their ID cards; soldiers abducted one young man whose identity was not known at the time of writing this report.

Meanwhile, occupation forces abducted two young men and a woman while they were passing through a military roadblock at the entrance to the village of Nabi Saleh, northwest of Ramallah.

Media sources said that Israeli soldiers erected a military roadblock at the entrance to Nabi Saleh village, and obstructed citizens’ movements, while inspecting their ID cards.

Sources added that occupation forces handcuffed, blindfolded, and abducted two young men and a woman, identified as Baha Mohammad al-Tamimi and Rifaat Wajih al-Tamimi and his wife, Nevin al-Sharawneh, taking them to a nearby military tower.

Later, media sources reported that the army stormed the village of Nabi Saleh, took up positions in the center of the village, and opened fire with tear gas canisters; no protests or injuries were reported.

Moreover, the army invaded several neighborhoods in the city of Ramallah, at dawn Monday, and stormed a residential building.

Media sources said that occupation soldiers stormed the Masayef neighborhood in the city and invaded a residential building; no protests or arrests were reported.

In related news, the soldiers invaded Al-‘Eizariya town, northeast of the occupied capital, Jerusalem, in the West Bank.

They abducted a young man, Mohammad Jihad Eliwat, after storming his home and ransacking it. The soldiers also destroyed a car owned by a local man, Nasser Mteir.
