Israeli forces shot and seriously injured a Palestinian doctor and abducted a woman, on Tuesday, after invading the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilia in the northwestern part of the West Bank.
Media sources said that occupation forces stormed Azzun town, east of Qalqilia, on Tuesday afternoon, and opened fire with live rounds, concussion grenades, and tear gas canisters, shooting a doctor with live ammunition.
Media sources added that the wounded doctor was transported to the Qalqilia Governmental Hospital where his injury was deemed serious, as confirmed by the Health Ministry.
Meanwhile, during the military incursion, Israeli forces abducted the wife of the young man, Kazem Radwan, after breaking into and searching her home, for the purpose of coercing him to turn himself into the army.
Soldiers stormed the northern entrance of the town and proceeded to force at least fifty commercial shops to close their doors.
