Israeli soldiers shot one Palestinian with live ammunition and abducted two, on Thursday, in the Qalandia refugee camp and the town of Abu Dis, near occupied Jerusalem.

Before dawn on Thursday, Israeli forces stormed many neighborhoods in the Qalandia refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem,, sparking protests among local Palestinians.



Media sources said that soldiers fired live rounds and concussion grenades at those who resisted the incursion, injuring one young man with live ammunition; he was transported to hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, at the same time, another army unit invaded the town of Abu Dis, east of occupied Jerusalem, triggering protests among local Palestinians.

Soldiers fired many tear gas canisters at citizens and abducted two young men after breaking into and searching their homes.

Media sources said that the army abducted the secretary of the Fatah movement, Muhammad Rabie and the young man, Hassan Qurei.
