On Sunday, Israeli forces shot a Palestinian man near Qalqilia, and assaulted another near Nablus, in the northwestern and northern parts of the occupied West Bank.
Israeli forces shot a Palestinian citizen, on Sunday evening, in the town of Hableh, south of Qalqilia in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.
Media sources said that occupation soldiers shot a 45-year-old man with live ammunition while he was in the vicinity of the Apartheid Wall, built on the citizens’ lands of Habla town; he was transported to hospital.
Meanwhile, the army assaulted a Palestinian young man during their invasion into the town of Awarta, south of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that its ambulance crews transported a young man (22) to hospital, on Sunday evening, after soldiers assaulted him, causing him to suffer bruising.
Furthermore, at dawn Sunday, occupation forces invaded Nablus city in addition to the Balata and Askar refugee camps.
Media sources said that the army stormed several areas of Nablus city, including Faisal Street, the city center, the Old City, and the Qaryoun neighborhood.
East of the city, Israeli forces invaded the Askar and New Askar refugee camps, and the Hashashin neighborhood in the Balata refugee camp; no protests or abductions were reported.
In related news, occupation forces abducted a Palestinian young man from the Awarta military roadblock, south of Nablus on Sunday afternoon.
According to Kamal Bani Odeh, the director of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) in Tubas, Israeli forces abducted Omar Mahmoud Hassan Basharat, 20, a resident of Tammun town, when he attempted to pass through the Awarta military roadblock.
