On Friday, Israeli soldiers shot a Palestinian young man and injured others in different areas of the northern West Bank governorate of Nablus.

Israeli soldiers invaded the Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus, on Friday morning, sparking protests from local Palestinians.

Media sources said that occupation forces stormed the Balata refugee camp, accompanied by a military bulldozer, and invaded many neighborhoods.

Meanwhile, in the afternoon, occupation forces shot a young man and injured others during an anti-settlement protest in the town of Beita town, south of Nablus.

Media sources said that the army fired live rounds and tear gas canisters at the peaceful citizens demonstrating against the nearby illegal colonial outpost.


Sources added that soldiers shot a young man in the hand with a tear gas canister, while many citizens sustained inhalation injuries; they were treated at the scene by local medics.

It was added that occupation forces directly targeted a Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) ambulance with a tear gas canister, damaging its windshield.

Furthermore, Israeli soldiers injured several Palestinians in the village of Yatma, south of Nablus, on Friday afternoon.

According to Ahmad Sanobar, the head of the Yatma village council said that occupation forces stormed Yatma village, sparking protests from local Palestinians.

Sanobar added that the army opened fire with many live rounds and tear gas canisters at those who resisted the incursion, causing several citizens to suffer the toxic effects of tear gas canisters.
