On Monday, Israeli forces shot a Palestinian man while he was near the Apartheid Wall west of Zeita town, north of Tulkarem. Soldiers forced dozens of families out of their homes in the Nur Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarem, in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.

WAFA correspondent reported that Raed Yassin, the Director of Ambulance and Emergency in Tulkarem, said its ambulance crews transported a 24-year-old man who was shot in the leg with live ammunition.

The wounded young man was transported to the Martyr Dr. Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital in the city in stable condition.

WAFA correspondent reported that dozens of Palestinian families were witnessed leaving the Nur Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarem, on Monday.


He added that occupation soldiers forced residents of the camp at gunpoint to leave their homes, amid random exchange of fire and explosions.

Nihad Al-Shawish, the head of the Popular Committee for Services in Nour Shams Camp, told the WAFA News Agency that the conditions inside the camp are extremely difficult.

He added that the army invaded several citizens’ homes, detonating their doors, and forcibly evacuating them under the threat of injury.


Al-Shawish stated that occupation bulldozers continued to destroy infrastructure, including the streets, interrupting the supply of electricity, water, and internet to the camp.

For its part, the Emergency Committee in Nour Shams Camp announced that at least half of the camp’s residents have been displaced and the army has completely destroyed 200 homes and partially destroyed 120 others.

On Sunday, occupation forces invaded the Nur shams camp, while they maintained a tight siege on the city of Tulkarem and the Tulkarem refugee camp for the 15th consecutive day.

The Quds News Network reported that Israeli forces abducted the young man, Yousef Amarna, a resident of the Nur Shams refugee camp.
