A Palestinian was killed in an Israeli drone strike on Monday, while two others, including a child, died from wounds sustained in earlier Israeli attacks. Several others were wounded in separate assaults across the Gaza Strip amid ongoing bombardment and reported ceasefire violations.
Medical sources at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, confirmed that one Palestinian was killed and several others were wounded, some seriously, in the drone strike.
They said the incident occurred when an Israeli military drone fired a missile at a motorcycle carrying two Palestinians in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis. Several passersby were also wounded in the attack.
Medical and local sources reported that Sobhi Al-Batrikhi succumbed to wounds sustained Sunday night when Israeli forces targeted Palestinians near the Communications Junction, west of Gaza City.
A six-year-old child, Dawood Moqat, also died from wounds sustained weeks earlier when Israeli forces shot him in the Zarqa area of the Tuffah neighborhood, northeast of Gaza City.

Meanwhile, Israeli naval forces opened fire on Palestinian fishing boats off the coast of Gaza City, wounding 16-year-old fisherman As’ad Mohammad Abu Ryala and 22-year-old Ibrahim Azzam Bakr.
Earlier, local sources reported that a third Palestinian was wounded by Israeli naval gunfire off the Gaza City shore. Israeli warplanes also carried out several airstrikes targeting the Tuffah neighborhood.
In the southern Gaza Strip, Israeli tanks fired heavily west of Rafah, while artillery shelling struck eastern areas of Khan Younis.

In northern Gaza, Israeli tanks opened heavy fire northwest of Beit Lahia. There were no immediate reports of casualties.
Several Palestinians were also wounded after Israeli forces opened fire near the Al-Qastal Towers area east of Deir Al-Balah in central Gaza.

Separately, Akram As-Sa’idi died after suffering an electric shock in the Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City.
In Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, several Palestinians were wounded in Israeli shelling of the Al-Qarara area.
The latest casualties follow separate Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip on Sunday that killed five Palestinians, including two children, and wounded more than 17 others.
In its casualty report published Monday, the Palestinian Health Ministry said Israeli attacks had killed 1,352 Palestinians and wounded 4,511 others since the “ceasefire” took effect on October 10, while 826 bodies had been recovered.
The ministry’s cumulative figures show that Israel has killed 73,658 Palestinians and injured 174,622 others since October 7, 2023.
