Israeli forces shot and killed, on Wednesday, a Palestinian man at the entrance to Beit ‘Einoun village near Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank, after an alleged car-ramming attack.
On Wednesday morning, Israeli forces shot and killed a Palestinian young man at the entrance to the village of Beit ‘Einoun, northeast of Hebron.
Soldiers opened fire on a vehicle that had come to a complete stop at the Beit ‘Einoun Junction, killing Bassel Wajeeh Abdul-Afu al-Muhtaseb, 28.
Media sources said that soldiers blocked ambulance crews from approaching the man, before they confiscated the body and the vehicle.
The army proceeded to declare the area a closed military zone and prevented citizens from entering or leaving the village.
Sources added that later in the day, soldiers stormed the city of Hebron, invaded the slain man’s family home.
The family were forcibly removed from the home before Israeli forces interrogated them.
