Israeli occupation forces, on Friday, shot a Palestinian child while he was present at a park in Saffa village, west of Ramallah, central occupied West Bank.
Ahmad Samara, head of Saffa village council, told the Palestinian WAFA News Agency that soldiers shot the minor with a live round in the leg, adding that the army threatened locals with gunfire and blocked them from entering the area.
According to the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS), the minor’s injury was deemed critical, he was transferred to Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital, inside of 1948 lands, known as Israel, for urgent treatment.
The reason for the shooting was not clear at the time of this report.
