Israeli forces shot, on Tuesday, three Palestinian young men, assaulted another, and abducted two brothers in the town of Tammun, south of Tubas in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.

Media sources said that occupation forces simultaneously invaded the city of Tubas and the town of Tammun, to the south, where they stormed several citizens’ homes, sparking clashes.


Armed Palestinian resistance fighters exchanged fire with the invading army, while soldiers fired live rounds, concussion grenades, and tear gas canisters towards those who resisted the incursion.

Sources at the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that its crews dealt with four injuries, three of whom sustained shrapnel wounds, while a fourth was severely assaulted.

The PRCS transported the injured citizens to hospital and described their conditions as stable.

Media sources said that occupation soldiers invaded and ransacked many citizens’ homes, while bulldozers caused destruction to vehicles, streets, and retaining walls.


Sources added that Israeli forces burned commercial shops and a three-storey residential building, causing an estimated hundreds of thousands of shekels of damage.

According to Kamal Bani Odeh, the director of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) in Tubas, occupation forces abducted the two brothers, Musab and Ibrahim Yousef Hamad Basharat, after storming their home in the town.

Odeh added that soldiers detained the brother of the two abductees and assaulted him, before releasing him.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces simultaneously stormed the city of Tubas from its southern entrance, and invaded several citizens’ homes, triggering protests among local Palestinians.

The army positioned sharpshooters on the rooftops of homes, while resistance fighters engaged in armed clashes, utilizing explosive devices against the military vehicles.

In related news, occupation forces invaded, before dawn Tuesday, the town of Jaba’, southwest of Jenin in the northern West Bank.

Media sources said that soldiers invaded the town, stationed near the municipality building, and fired live rounds and concussion grenades, while armed resistance fighters exchanged fire with the invading army and targeted military vehicles with explosive devices.
