Israeli forces shot three Palestinians, including a child, on Monday, and abducted one of them, after storming several towns and villages in the Qalqilia and Tulkarem governorates in the northwestern part of the West Bank.

In the predawn hours of Monday occupation forces shot a Palestinian young man with live ammunition in Jayyus village, east of Qalqilia.


Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) crews reported that a young man was shot but soldiers prevented from reaching him, and then proceeded to abduct him.

Meanwhile, in the village of Baqat al-Hatab, east of the city, soldiers shot a 20-year-old Palestinian in the thigh with a live round, and he was transported to hospital for medical treatment.

It was added that occupation forces invaded the town of Habla, south of Qalqilia, deployed troops in several neighborhoods, and stormed many homes.

On Monday morning, Israeli forces shot a 13-year-old Palestinian child in the thigh with live ammunition while he was near the Apartheid wall in the village of Jayyus, east of the city.

The injured child was transported to Thabet Thabet Hospital in Tulkarem for medical treatment.

Late Monday night, Israeli soldiers invaded that town of Anabta, east of Tulkarem in the northwestern part of the West Bank, leading to protests.

Soldiers responded by firing tear gas canisters at citizens without causing any casualties.

Furthermore, the army also invaded the nearby village of Kafr al-Labad, southeast of the city, and fire concussion grenades and tear gas canisters at Palestinian youths who resisted the incursion. No injuries were reported.
