Israeli forces shot three Palestinians, including a child, on Wednesday evening, after invading the Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.

According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS), its ambulance crews transported three wounded citizens to hospital for treatment.

The PRCS added that a 16-year-old was shot in the leg with live ammunition, while two young men sustained shrapnel injuries, one to the neck, and the other to the hand.

Media sources said that Israeli soldiers stormed Balata camp, on Wednesday evening, sparking protests among local Palestinian youths.

Sources added that occupation forces opened fire with live rounds, while loud explosions were heard during the military incursion.

In related news, a Palestinian young man died, on Wednesday evening, as a result of wounds he sustained six days ago in the Balata refugee camp.

According to medical sources, the young man, Jamal Ahmad Abdul Rahman Saudi, 21, from the Balata camp, succumbed to wounds he sustained from an Israeli drone strike on August 15, 2024.
