Israeli forces shot three Palestinian young men, on Sunday, after storming the town of Beit Furik, southeast of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.

According to Hussein Hajj Mohammad, the Mayor of Beit Furik, said that occupation forces invaded the town on Sunday afternoon, sparking protests from local Palestinian youths.


Mohammad added that soldiers fired live rounds at those who resisted the incursion, shooting three young men; their wounds were deemed minor.

Meanwhile, in the evening, Israeli forces attacked citizens’ vehicles while they were stopped at the Al-Murabba’a military roadblock, southwest of Nablus.

Media sources quoted eyewitnesses who reported that soldiers fired tear gas canisters at Palestinian-owned vehicles while obstructing citizen’s movement through the Al-Murabba’a military roadblock.

Palestine TV reported that Israeli military roadblocks surrounding Nablus city are witnessing a stifling crisis as a result of restrictions and closures, in addition to occupation forces searching citizens’ vehicles and phones.


In related news, Israeli forces continue to occupy a citizen’s home in the village of Anin, west of Jenin in the northern West Bank for the fifth consecutive day.

Mohammad Issa, the head of Anin village council, told WAFA News Agency, that soldiers continued, for the fifth day in a row, to occupy the home of Rashid Abdul Rahman Yassin, using it as a military observation point.
