In the northern part of the West Bank, Israeli forces stormed many towns and villages in the Jenin governorate, searched two printing presses, and abducted one Palestinian young man, amid fierce protests.
In the predawn hours of Friday, a large Israeli army force invaded the town of Jaba’, southwest of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank.
The incursion sparked an armed exchange with Palestinian resistance fighters, while soldiers fired live rounds and concussion grenades while they stormed many neighborhoods in the town.
Hours later, the another military unit invaded the town of Silat Al-Harithiya, northwest of the city, roaming their vehicles into many neighborhoods, eliciting protests from local Palestinians.
Media sources later reported that occupation forces stormed the town of Deir Abu Da’if, to the east of Jenin, and broke into the home of Muhammad Abdel Fattah Mahameed, before abducting him.
In Jaba’ town, soldiers stormed a printing press owned by the detainee, Saher Abu Aoun, broke down its doors, searched the building, and confiscated a computer.
Israeli forces invaded the nearby village of Sanur, triggering protests among local Palestinians; no injuries were reported.
The invading army broke down the doors to another printing press belonging to the citizen, Bassam Issa, ransacked the place, and confiscated surveillance cameras and their recordings.
It was added that soldiers also invaded the towns and villages of At-Tayba, Rummanah, ‘Anin, Jalama, and Faqqu’a in the Jenin governorate, while local Palestinians protested the incursions.
