On Saturday, the Israeli occupation army intensified its military aggression against Tulkarm city and its refugee camps, marking 55 consecutive days of operations in the city and 42 days in the Nur Shams refugee camp.

This ongoing escalation includes home invasions, property seizures, and the forced conversion of residences into military centers, leaving residents displaced under duress.

Local sources reported that early on Saturday, occupation forces invaded homes in the Al-Muqata’a neighborhood of Tulkarm refugee camp, ordering residents to evacuate amidst the use of stun grenades to spread panic and force families to leave.

Residents were given a deadline of noon to vacate, with similar eviction orders issued to the Al-Tawil and Al-Alariya families in the Abu Al-Fool neighborhood.

In recent days, the camp has witnessed a significant exodus, with remaining residents forced to flee neighborhoods on its outskirts, including Qaqoun, Abu Al-Fool, Maraba’a Hanoun, Al-Hadaida, and the airport area, under threats and intimidation. This has left the camp nearly deserted, with over 12,000 refugees displaced.

The Israeli military onslaught in Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps continues under a tight siege.

Additional forces have been deployed into the camps’ neighborhoods and alleys, accompanied by extensive house-to-house searches and invasion of businesses.

These violations are often conducted with live ammunition and stun grenades. Numerous homes and residential buildings within and around the camps have been forcibly seized and converted into military outposts.

On Friday night, the Israeli army forcibly evicted residents from several apartment buildings in the northern Al-Sair district near Nablus Street.

Families in Al-Waha, Al-Muhannad, Abu Al-Fool, and the home of the Younis family were given less than two hours to evacuate before their buildings were seized and transformed into military bases.

This escalation is part of a broader campaign targeting residential properties, particularly on Nablus Street and its surrounding areas. These measures have severely restricted movement for residents and vehicles alike.

Bulldozers have blocked parts of Nablus Street near the entrances to Tulkarm camp with dirt barriers.

Additionally, several civilian vehicles were confiscated as they passed through the street. These vehicles were used to block off sections of the road, with their owners detained after their keys were seized.

In the vicinity of Al-Firdous Mosque, traffic lights were destroyed, decorative trees uprooted, and passing vehicles subjected to rigorous searches, further tightening movement restrictions.

Additional military reinforcements have been deployed in the city. Military vehicles continue to invade streets and neighborhoods, disrupting traffic and daily life.

Commercial establishments have also been invaded, with their contents vandalized and employees interrogated.

This ongoing aggression in Tulkarm and its camps has resulted in the deaths of 13 civilians, including a child and two women—one of whom was eight months pregnant. Dozens more have been injured or detained. Over 24,000 individuals have been forcibly displaced from Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps, along with many families from the city’s northern district.

The aggression has caused widespread destruction of infrastructure, homes, businesses, and vehicles, many of which have been partially or fully demolished, burned, or vandalized. Entrances and alleys of the camps remain blocked with dirt barriers.

On Friday evening, Israeli forces escalated their military offensive in Tulkarem, and ordered the evacuation of many families.
