On Friday, the Israeli army continued its bombardment of various parts of the devastated Gaza Strip, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians across the starved and besieged coastal enclave.

In Gaza City, medical sources reported that a young man, Dia’ Jihad Ibrahim Tayeh, succumbed to serious wounds he had sustained earlier when the army bombarded Al-Karama School in the Tuffah neighborhood, where dozens of displaced families were sheltering.

Another Palestinian was killed, and several others were injured after an Israeli military drone targeted residents in the Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood, in the southern area of Gaza City.

Bodies of civilians, including children, recovered after an Israeli airstrike targeted their tent in the Sabra neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City.

Furthermore, a young man, Zakariya Abu Haseera, succumbed to serious wounds he had suffered on Thursday when the army fired missiles at displaced Palestinians near Al-Amal Hotel, in the western part of Gaza City. The attack instantly killed his father and uncle and caused several injuries.

In the Rimal neighborhood, west of Gaza City, four Palestinians, including a child, were killed, and many others were injured when the army fired a missile at a shop on Ma’touq Street.

The slain Palestinians were identified as Ahmad Ribhi Ayyad, a child, Mohammad Rushdi Abu Amro, Jalal Rabah Abu Amro, and Majed Rami Abu Nasr.

In Jabalia refugee camp, in northern Gaza, the army fired missiles at a UNRWA warehouse used for storing wheat and food supplies, killing at least four Palestinians and wounding dozens, mostly children and women.

Casualties were also reported in Israeli bombings and shelling across various parts of northern Gaza, especially in Beit Lahia.

In Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, an Israeli drone fired a missile at displaced families near Mortaja Junction, east of the city, killing Majdi Ata Fadel Al-Agha, 60, Bara’ Majdi Fadel Al-Agha, 19, and Hamza Monir Hamdi Al-Agha, 24.

Also in Khan Younis, Palestinian medics and rescue teams found the corpse of an infant, Mohammad Hisham Sobhi Shehab, only three months old, under the rubble of his family’s home in the Zanna area, which had been bombarded two days earlier.

The bombing of his home instantly killed his father and mother, while he and his two brothers were injured.

In Rafah, in Gaza’s southernmost part, the army wired and detonated multiple homes and buildings in the city center.

Israeli occupation forces continue their genocidal offensive on Gaza, bringing the total number of Palestinians killed since October 7, 2023, to more than 52,787, including at least 15,626 children, 9,807 women, 3,855 elderly individuals, 237 journalists, and 23 medics. Additionally, 119,349, mostly children, women and elders, have been wounded.
