On Wednesday, Israeli navy ships attacked Palestinian fishing boats with live fire and high-velocity gas bombs, abducted four fishermen, and confiscated their boat and equipment near the shore of Beit Lahia in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

Media sources said the navy surrounded fishing boats near the shores of northern Gaza and fired live rounds and gas bombs at them.

They added that the navy abducted Omar Mohamamd Bakr, Ibrahim Mohamamd Bakr, Mansour Mohammad Bakr, and Mohamam Jamal Bakr.

The fishermen were working on their boats not far from the Al-Waha shore.

The navy also confiscated the fishermen’s boat and fishing equipment after initially chasing them, surrounding them near the shore, and opening fire at them.

On Monday, Israeli soldiers fired several live rounds and high-velocity gas bombs at Palestinian farmers north of Beit Lahia, wounding one.

On Saturday morning, Israeli navy ships attacked several Palestinian boats near the shores of the northern part of the besieged Gaza Strip.

On Friday evening, Israeli soldiers injured several Palestinians, including three with live fire, in the eastern parts of the Gaza Strip.

Earlier Friday, the soldiers injured a Palestinian man after the army attacked farmers and residents on their lands near the fence east of the Al-Boreij refugee camp in central Gaza.

The attacks are part of constant Israeli violations against the Palestinians, especially the fishermenfarmersshepherds, and workers in the besieged and impoverished Gaza Strip, and resulted in dozens of casualties, including fatalities, in addition to severe property damage and the confiscation of many boats after abducting the fishermen.

In March of 2021, the Palestinian Interior Ministry in Gaza said Israeli mines were responsible for an explosion that killed three fishermen.
