Israeli navy ships fired, Thursday, many live rounds at Palestinian fishing boats near the shore of Rafah, in the southern part of the besieged Gaza Strip.
Media sources said the navy fired a barrage of live ammunition at Palestinian fishing boats, forcing them to leave.
They stated that the attack took place in Palestinian waters not far from the shore of Rafah and added that the violation did not lead to casualties.
On Tuesday, the soldiers fired live rounds at Palestinian farmers on their lands in the central and southern part of the Gaza Strip.
The attacks are part of frequent Israeli violations against the Palestinians, especially the fishermen, farmers, shepherds, and workers in the besieged and impoverished Gaza Strip, and resulted in dozens of casualties, including fatalities, in addition to severe property damage and the confiscation of many boats after abducting the fishermen.
In March of last year, 2021, the Palestinian Interior Ministry in Gaza said Israeli mines were responsible for an explosion that led to the death of three fishermen.
On Thursday at dawn, Israeli soldiers abducted twenty-four Palestinians, including siblings, from their homes in several parts of the occupied West Bank after the soldiers invaded many communities and violently searched dozens of homes.
