Israeli occupation police abducted, on Wednesday evening, ten Palestinian children, and assaulted women, near the Damascus Gate, in occupied Jerusalem.
Thousands of Palestinian Muslims gathered in the Damascus Gate (Bab al-Amoud) area, one of the main gates to the Old City of occupied Jerusalem, to celebrate the birth of the prophet Mohammad.
Occupation police were heavily deployed in the vicinity of the Damascus Gate, chased and abducted children, and assaulted Palestinian young women.
According to the lawyer of the Wadi Hilweh Information Center – Jerusalem, Siraj Abu Arafa, Israeli occupation police abducted ten Palestinian children between the ages of 12 and 18 years.

Abu Arafa identified the abducted Palestinian children as; Tamer Obaidiya, Yahya Abdel Hamid, Muhammad Abu Tir, Mahmoud Abu Sneina, Malik Ghurab, Muhammad Al-Shaloudi, Mohamed Ali, Amjad Hajej, Muhammad Falah, and Fares Abu Sariya.
Videos were posted on social media outlets show Israeli police forcefully shoving a young woman, causing her to fall to the ground, and pushing a woman.
