Israeli police, today, assaulted medics from the Palestinian Red Crescent (PRC) while they were trying to help a patient outside the Lions Gate area of Old City Jerusalem.
PRC said, in a statement, that the assault occurred when its staff were trying to drive an ambulance into the Lions Gate area to help a patient who was in need of first aid.
The staff only sustained minor bruises but none of them was hospitalized, according to WAFA.
