Israeli occupation police, on Friday, closed the sports arena of Beit Safafa, in Jerusalem, and banned Palestinians from organizing a soccer tournament.
Local sources said that police forces stormed the arena and put up a notice ordering the closure of the playing field and the prohibition of local residents from holding a tournament.
The notice, which was signed by Israeli security minister Gilad Erdan, said he took his decision, in this regard, because the tournament would be organized in honor of the Palestinian Prisoners Day.
