Israeli forces shot and killed a Palestinian child, on Tuesday, while he was working in a car wash in the town of Anata, northeast of occupied Jerusalem.

According to a statement by the media office in the Jerusalem Governorate, occupation forces shot and killed the child, Shadi Wissam Sheha, 16, in Anata town.

Media sources said that sharpshooters positioned in the nearby illegal “Pisgat Ze’ev” settlement, targeted the child for allegedly throwing stones at soldiers.

The seriously injured child was rushed to hospital where doctors announced that he had succumbed to his wounds.

Israeli forces have now killed 625 Palestinians, including 146 children and 9 women, in various parts of the occupied West Bank, since the beginning of the Israeli military onslaught against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.

Meanwhile, a large army force stormed the Shu’fat refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem, and fired concussion grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens’ vehicles, shops, and homes, sparking protests among local Palestinians.

Also, in the center of Jerusalem, Israeli forces invaded the Wadi al-Joz neighborhood and assaulted citizens, triggering protests.

Earlier on Tuesday, at least 2,958 illegal colonizers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, according to the Islamic Endowments Department.

Among the intruders into the Muslim holy site, was the extremist, Itamar Ben-Gvir, who also enjoyed full protection by the occupation police.

In related news, Israeli forces killed, at dawn Tuesday, the young man, Moataz Mohammed Omar Sarsour, 19, after shooting him in the chest with live ammunition, and critically injuring him, in addition to shooting three others, in the central West Bank city of Ramallah.
