Overnight, Israeli soldiers abducted at least 12 Palestinians, including children and former political prisoners, from their homes in various parts of the occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society and the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs reported that the abductions occurred in the governorates of Hebron, Qalqilia, Jenin, Ramallah, Tubas, and Tulkarem.

The abductions followed massive invasions in which soldiers stormed and ransacked numerous homes across the West Bank, causing damage and interrogating many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.

Since the start of the ongoing genocide and comprehensive aggression against the Palestinian people, the number of abductions in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, has exceeded 11,700.

The occupation forces continue to conduct systematic abduction campaigns, a consistent policy that has escalated unprecedentedly since the beginning of the ongoing genocide, on October 7, 2023.

It is important to note that the data on abductions only includes those from the West Bank. It is believed that the army has also abducted thousands of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, but due to the ongoing bombing and siege, the exact numbers remain unknown.
