Israeli occupation forces launched a series of invasions across the occupied West Bank, earlier on Monday, abducting at least 19 Palestinians—including a child, a university student and a former political prisoner—and imposing military roadblocks and widespread closures across several governorates.

In Ramallah, in the central West Bank, soldiers invaded the village of Deir Abu Mash’al, west of the city, searched homes, and abducted a child, Amir Abdul-Mon’em Ata.

They also abducted Mus’ab Badran from his home in the nearby village of Kharbatha al-Misbah.

In Hebron, located in the southern West Bank, Israeli troops invaded the Khallet Hadour neighborhood and abducted Abdullah al-Hashlamoun after breaking into his home and ransacking its contents.

In the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, occupation forces stormed several homes in the Aseeda area, vandalized property, and abducted Ahmad Afif Omar Ekhlayyil (22), a university student, along with Mahmoud Hussein Mahmoud al-Allami (20) and Mohammad Khaled Mahmoud al-Allami (21).

Following the invasions, Israeli forces installed multiple military roadblocks at the entrances to Hebron’s towns, villages, and refugee camps, sealing off several main and secondary roads with iron gates, concrete blocks, and earth mounds.

In Qalqilia, in the northwestern West Bank, soldiers invaded the city from its eastern entrance and abducted Affan Mansour, in his forties, after breaking into his home in the Islamic College neighborhood.

In the village of Qarawat Bani Hassan, west of Salfit in the central West Bank, occupation forces abducted eight Palestinians after invading and searching their homes.

The abductees are former detainee Othman Asi, Mohammad al-Arabi, Mut’ah Mer’ey, Ahmad Amin Mer’ey, Saed Bara’ Aasi, Hudhayfa Mer’ey, Imran Mar’i, and Othman Reehi ‘Aasi.

In Tulkarem, in the northwestern West Bank, Israeli troops abducted Ahmad Yousef al-Hamshari after invading his home in the city’s eastern neighborhood.

In Nablus, in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the Khallet al-Iman neighborhood and abducted four Palestinians: Yazan Jaber, Issam Jaber, Ahmad Jaber, and Tariq Jaber.

In a separate invasion of Beit Furik, east of Nablus, troops abducted Mohammad Khattaba after breaking into his home.

Also in Nablus, illegal Israeli paramilitary colonizers attacked Palestinian shepherds in the village of Khirbet at-Tawil, east of Aqraba town, south of the city, and forced them to leave the grazing grounds.

Colonizers routinely assault Palestinian shepherds and prevent them from accessing grazing fields across vast areas of the occupied West Bank, in addition to frequently invading their communities and destroying property.
