Israeli soldiers have abducted at least 22 Palestinians, including two children and a journalist, from the occupied West Bank, since last night until Thursday morning.

The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Prisoners’ Society explained that the abductions were concentrated in the Hebron governorate, in the southern part of the West Bank.

Besides Hebron, the abductions were carried out in the governorates of Ramallah, Bethlehem, and occupied Jerusalem.

The abduction campaign was accompanied by numerous assaults and threats against the detainees and their families, as well as extensive vandalism and destruction of homes, and other property.

It is worth mentioning that the army has abducted more than 11,200 Palestinians, including children and women, in the occupied West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, since October 7, 2023.

Israeli forces continue to conduct systematic abduction campaigns, one of the most prominent constant policies, which have escalated unprecedentedly since then.

It is also noted that the data related to abductions include those from the occupied West Bank excluding Gaza, with their numbers estimated in the thousands, but due to the ongoing genocide, their names and exact numbers remain largely unknown.
