On Friday, Israeli soldiers abducted an elderly Palestinian woman while leaving the Al-Aqsa Mosque after praying at the holy site and took her to a police station in the Old City.
Media sources said the soldiers abducted Nafisa Khweiss while leaving Al-Aqsa through Bab Hutta after detaining and interrogating her behind the iron barriers the soldiers installed around the holy site.
Two days earlier, the soldiers invaded Khadija’s home in the At-Tour town in Jerusalem and summed her up for interrogation.
It is worth mentioning that Nafisa was frequently detained and interrogated by the soldiers and the police and was frequently barred from entering Al-Aqsa for protesting the constant invasions and provocative tours by the soldiers, police, and illegal colonizers into the holy site.
The most recent order barring her from entering Al-Aqsa and its surroundings expired in July of this year.
Last week, the soldiers handed orders to many Palestinians, barring them from entering the holy sites and surrounding areas during the Jewish New Year, Hanukkah, and Yum Kippur.
