On Saturday, Israeli forces abducted four Palestinians and injured several others in the southern and central West Bank governorates of Bethlehem and Ramallah.
In the central occupied West Bank, Israeli forces abducted, on Saturday afternoon, Wadih Hassanein Al-Tirawi, 29, a resident of the Al-Jalazoun refugee camp, while he was passing through a military roadblock near the village of Ein Siniya, north of Ramallah.
In the predawn hours of Saturday, Israeli soldiers assaulted and abducted three Palestinian young men whose identities were not known at the time of writing this report, in the town of Tuqu’, southeast of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank.
On Saturday evening, Israeli soldiers invaded Al-Khader town, southwest of Bethlehem, and occupied the rooftops of commercial shops.
The army fired many tear gas canisters and concussion grenade towards citizens’ homes, causing several Palestinians to sustain inhalation injuries from tear gas exposure.
Furthermore, on Saturday night, Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Husan, southwest of Bethlehem, which sparked protests among local Palestinian youths.
According to Rami Hamamra, the head of the Husan Village Council, local Palestinians confronted the invading army, while soldiers fired live rounds, tear gas canisters, and concussion grenades, causing several Palestinians to suffer the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation.
Hamamra added that the army closed the “Al-Muteena” area, forcing shop owners to close their shops, and turned a citizen’s home into a military post.
