Early Tuesday, Israeli occupation soldiers invaded Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron in the occupied West Bank’s southern part, and abducted four Palestinians after storming and searching several homes in the Safa area.
The abductees were identified as Jamal Mohammad Ahmad Adi (20), Saif Mohammad Ahmad Aadi (35), Qassam Ghazi Hassan Aadi (18), and Saif Ahmad Mohammad Qoqas Ekhlayyel (25).
All were taken to the Gush Etzion military base, interrogation facility and security center, north of Hebron.
Late Monday, a 16-year-old child was shot in the foot with live ammunition during a separate invasion targeting the ath-Thaher area south of Beit Ummar. His injuries were described as moderate.
Elsewhere in Hebron, soldiers fired concussion grenades and tear gas near the entrance of Ethna town, searched homes in the city, and installed military roadblocks across multiple towns and refugee camps. Several roads were sealed off with iron gates, concrete blocks, and earth mounds.
In related news, the soldiers invaded multiple areas across Ramallah and al-Bireh in the occupied West Bank’s central part early Tuesday, abducting at least eleven Palestinians and converting a mosque into a field interrogation site.
As of October 2025, Israel is holding over 21,000 Palestinians in prisons, military camps, and interrogation centers. This figure includes both sentenced prisoners and those held without charge under administrative detention.
Among them are more than 570 women, many of whom were abducted since October 7, 2023. At least 25 women are currently held under administrative detention, including lawyers, journalists, and a nursing mother.
Approximately 300 Palestinian children under the age of 18 are imprisoned, including 94 held in Megiddo Prison and 40 under administrative detention. At least 24 of the detained children are from Gaza. Since October 7, Israeli forces have abducted around 760 children in total.
From Gaza alone, at least 1,886 Palestinians are currently held as “unlawful combatants,” with their legal status and locations undisclosed. Thousands more are detained in military camps under conditions of enforced disappearance, without access to legal counsel or family contact.
Since the start of the genocide in Gaza on October 7, 2023, Israel has issued over 10,000 administrative detention orders, including renewals targeting children and women. Human rights organizations have documented widespread use of torture, denial of legal rights, and the suspension of Red Cross visits.
