Updated: Earlier Monday, Israeli soldiers abducted twenty-five Palestinians, including siblings, from several parts of the occupied West Bank after the army stormed and ransacked dozens of homes.
In Jericho, in the northeastern West Bank, the soldiers abducted eight Palestinians, including siblings identified as Shaker Amarna, Mohammad Riyad Oweidat, Abdul-Hafeth Fakhr Oweidat, Fakhr Abdul-Hafeth Oweidat, and his brother, Mohammad, Mohammad Riyad Oweidat, Ehab Mohammad Hmeidat and his brother Ahmad.
The eight were taken prisoner in a military offensive in the Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, where the army also killed five Palestinians, including siblings, and injured many others.
In Bethlehem, south of occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers invaded and searched several homes in the governorate and abducted Sanad Amjad Taqatqa from Beit Fajjar town, south of the city, Mustafa Jamal Al-Badan 22, from Tuqu’ town, southeast of the city, and Ahmad Nasser Asakra, 25, from Asakra area, east of Bethlehem.
In Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank, the soldiers abducted Amad Ezzat Al-Wreidt, Nour Ibrahim Al-Battat, Yousef Ibrahim Al-Battat, Ghaleb Al-Battat, Mohammad Ziad Al-Battatm, Mohammad Hamad Al-Hawarin, Ishaq Jamal Al-Hawarin, Tareq Sobhi Al-Hawarin, from their homes in the Ath-Thaheriyya town, south of the city.
In Ramallah, in the central West Bank, the soldiers abducted Ahmad Mahmoud Rimawi, 17, after storming and ransacking his family’s home in Beit Rima town, northwest of the city, and former political prisoner Ibrahim Majdi Hammad, from Silwad town, east of the Ramallah.
The invasion led to massive protests in the town, while some protesters hurled Molotov cocktails at the invading military vehicles, burning one army jeep.
In Nablus, in the northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted a young man, Amjad Qozah, from his home in the city, and a woman, Raja’ Ali Karsoa’, 48, from her home in the Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus.
In Jenin, in the northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Qassam Mahameed from his home in Deir Abu Da’if, northeast of the city, and Essam Khaled Alawana from Jaba’ town, south of Jenin, while crossing a military roadblock near Silat al-Harithiya, west of Jenin.
