On Monday evening, Israeli soldiers invaded Silwan and al-Isawiya towns, in the occupied Palestinian capital, Jerusalem, and abducted five Palestinians from the same family.

The Wadi Hilweh Information Center In Silwan (Silwanic) said several army jeeps invaded the town before the soldiers broke into and violently searched homes.

Silwanic added that the soldiers abducted a Palestinian father from the local al-Muhtaseb family and two of his sons.

In related news, the soldiers invaded the home of Jerusalem governor Adnan Gheith in Silwan town and ransacked the property.

It is worth mentioning that Gheith, also a member of the Fateh Revolutionary Council, received on August 8th a house arrest order without setting a timeframe.

Gheith was abducted 35 times since he became a governor in August 2018, and is subject to constant Israeli violations, including an order barring him from leaving Jerusalem.

In the al-Isawiya town, undercover Israeli soldiers ambushed and assaulted two young men, before abducting them.
