The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has confirmed that Israeli soldiers abducted, on Wednesday at dawn, at least twenty Palestinians, including children and former political prisoner, in several parts of the occupied West Bank.
The soldiers invaded and violently searched dozens of homes across the West Bank, and interrogated many Palestinians, before abducting at least twenty.
In Bethlehem governorate, the soldiers invaded the al-Azza refugee camp, north of the city, abducted Rami Firas Abu Sh’eera, 24, from his home.
Also in Bethlehem, the soldiers invaded the al-Khader town, south of the city, and summoned Qussai Abdullah Issa, 24, for interrogation in Etzion military base, after searching his home in the Old City.
In Tubas, in northeastern West Bank, the soldiers searched many homes and abducted a former political prisoner, identified as Rami Ayman Shareeda, in addition to Salaheddin Talal Daraghma.
In Qalqilia, in northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Mohammad Waddah Enaya and Yasser Nofal, after invading and ransacking their homes.
In Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank, the soldiers abducted a child, identified as Issa Emad at-Teety, in addition to Khaled Yazan Jawabra, from the al-‘Arroub refugee camp, and a former political prisoner, identified as Maher al-Atrash, 45, from Halhoul town.
In addition, the soldiers abducted Atef Ali Rabba’, from Yatta town, south of Hebron, after stopping him at the Container roadblock, east of Bethlehem.
In Tulkarem, in northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Mo’men Raslan Areed, from his home in Shweika area, north of the city, and confiscated surveillance recordings from a restaurant in the Western Neighborhood, after invading and searching it.
It is worth mentioning that the Restaurant overlooks the street where, on Tuesday at dawn, the soldiers killed a mentally disabled young man, identified as Mohammad Husam Halabi, 22.
In Salfit, in Central West Bank, the soldiers abducted four Palestinians from the Salfit city, Iskaka town and the village of Qarawat Bank Hassan.
Media sources said the soldiers abducted Aziz Fattash, and a former political prisoner, identified as Husam Anis Harb, 58, from Salfit city, in addition to Kamal Harb, from Iskaka, and Sa’ad Mer’ey, from Qarawat Bani Hassan.
Furthermore, the soldiers abducted Mahmoud Kheir Khatib, Osama Firas Tamimi and Walid Nassar Ahmad Nassar, from Deir Nitham village, northwest of the central West Bank city of Ramallah.
