On Tuesday dawn, Israeli soldiers invaded Silwad town, east of Ramallah in the central West Bank, stormed and ransacked homes before abducting two Palestinians and confiscating cash.

Eyewitnesses said several military jeeps invaded the town before the soldiers stormed and violently searched several homes.

They added that the soldiers abducted Abdullah Khader Abbas, 17, and Azem Wasel, 18, from their homes.

The soldiers also confiscated 5800 Shekels from the home of a former political prisoner, Ahmad Othman Ibrahim Hamed, after breaking into it.

Also at dawn, many Israeli soldiers invaded the Askar Al-Qadim refugee camp, east of Nablus in the occupied West Bank’s northern part, and assaulted a young man.

Earlier Tuesday, a group of illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers cut and uprooted dozens of trees on Palestinian lands in Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part.

On Monday evening, illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers invaded Palestinian lands in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, demolished two sheds, and a barn, and broke and cut trees, in addition to chasing farmers and shepherds.

In related news, the colonizers shot two Palestinians, including a child, and burned a vehicle and a citizen’s home in the town of Asira al-Qibliya, southwest of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.

All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.

Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory”.
