On Tuesday, Day 130 of the Israeli onslaught on the Palestinians in several parts of the devastated, besieged, improvised, and destroyed Gaza Strip, Israeli missiles and shells killed dozens of Palestinians and injured many more, in several parts of the coastal enclave.

In Khan Younis, the Israeli missiles and live fire killed two Palestinians, including a child, and injured dozens.

Medical sources said the soldiers fatally shot the Palestinian child near the main gate of Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis.

The sources added that another child, who was hospitalized at the Nasser Medical Center in Khan Younis died after hospital electricity generators stopped after running out of fuel due to constant Israeli attacks and the siege.

Media sources said the Israeli tanks are stationed in front of Nasser Medical Center, and added that the soldiers are demanding the displaced families that are sheltering there to leave.

The Israeli army also fired many missiles and shells at schools where families sheltered near Nasser Hospital, while a military drone fired live rounds at Palestinians fleeing the bombarded area, killing a young man and wounding several residents.

The Israeli army also wired and detonated several homes and buildings in the center of Khan Younis city.

At least one Palestinian was killed and many were injured by Israeli fire in an area just outside of Khan Younis.

In Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, the Israeli army fired missiles at a Palestinian Police station in the Shouka area, causing many casualties.

The Israeli army also fired dozens of missiles and shells at various areas, east of Rafah city, causing casualties, including many fatalities.

Furthermore, Al-Jazeera reporter, Ismael Abu Omar and cameraman Ahmad Matar, were seriously injured after an Israeli military drone targeted them while reporting on the situation of displaced families, north of Rafah.

In Deir Al-Balah, in central Gaza, Israeli missiles killed at least one Palestinian and wounded several others, in the eastern part of the city, and killed more than fifteen, including children, and wounding dozens in their homes in Deir Al-Balah.

In Gaza City, the army fired many missiles, shells and bursts of live rounds at various parts of the city, causing many casualties.

On its part, the Israeli army said a commander and two soldiers from the reserve Brigade #630 were killed in a building that was wired by Palestinian fighters before the soldiers stormed it.

Amnesty International warned that the planned massive Israeli invasion of Rafah will lead to genocide, especially since the population in Rafah has increased by 500% since Israel began its onslaught on Gaza.

Amnesty said:

  • At least 95 civilians, – nearly half of them children – killed in four unlawful strikes in Rafah.
  • Attacks took place in the southern governorate supposed to be “safe”.
  • All four strikes are likely direct attacks on civilians and civilian objects and must be investigated as war crimes.

It added: “Fresh evidence of deadly unlawful attacks in the occupied Gaza Strip, gathered by Amnesty International, demonstrates how Israeli forces continue to flout international humanitarian law, obliterating entire families with total impunity.”

“Entire families were wiped out in Israeli attacks even after they sought refuge in areas promoted as safe and with no prior warning from Israeli authorities. These attacks illustrate an ongoing pattern of Israeli forces brazenly flouting international law, contradicting claims by Israeli authorities that their forces are taking heightened precautions to minimize harm to civilians,” said Erika Guevara-Rosas, Amnesty International’s Senior Director of Research, Advocacy, Policy, and Campaigns. Israel has now killed at least 28,473 Palestinians, and injured at least 68,146, mostly women and children, in several parts of the Gaza Strip, since October 7, 2023, in addition to the thousands who remain missing, largely buried under the rubble of bombarded homes and buildings, and on various streets and alleys.
